Brass Tornado

Ok I've made many of these tornado beads, but never one in gold wire.  Technically its not gold, its brass colored Artistic Wire, but for all intents and purposes it does the trick and is non-tranish wire.  I didn't think I would like it because I've never seen one done, but need I say its awesome!  With pieces of coil and Fire Opal Swarovski at ever turn how could it not be.  There are also some pale amber czech beads in there too.  Lots of kinks and twists and turns.  So much to look at you just want to keep spinning it.  All beads are 4mm.  This would fit a pandora or troll bracelet of your choice. Raku Lentil Earrings for SALE ON ETSY

Wow its been a while since I posted.  Dang!  I made these Monday night and I was totally surprised.  I bought a new lentil press from http://www.corinabeads.com/ bake in February and finally got around to using it.  These lentils are black with raku spots at random front and back.  The raku takes on a "oil on water" appearance creating quite a burst of colors once it is melted in.  In the picture they look large but really they are only about the sz of a nickel. Enjoy and thank you for visiting The Blue Flame.

Tornado Ring

Did I mention that I also make wire wrapped jewelry too?  This is my version of a Tornado ring.  Lisa Niven Kelley is an amazing wire wrapping artist and you can find most of her stuff on http://www.beaducation.com/.  I took the concept of her tornado beads and turned it into a ring instead.  Since I've made this piece I've modified the design alot to make other pieces like pendants.

For my dear friend Rea

My amazing, card making friend Rea is a HUGE (and folks I mean huge) Stryper Fan.  I couldn't resist making her these earrings as a special Stryper accessory to all the 80's big hair and flashy clothes that the band wore. She really liked them

Just can't part with this

This piece belongs to yours truely.  I wear this one pretty often and it has earrings to match.

Gift for my mom

Another gift for my mom, these pink with black and white earrings rock.

African Totem

One of my fav lampwork artists is Corina Tettinger.  This piece is inspired by her and was a gift to my mother-in-law for her birthday this year.
